November 4th 2015, Elko, NV, USA. IDS North America will be holding a technical share event for Western Nevada. This will provide an opportunity to see the new IBIS-Rover mobile slope monitoring radar, share case studies, and hear user highlights.
The IBIS-Rover is the most recent addition to the IBIS family of slope monitoring radar for mining applications. It features 270 degree scanning and sub-bench level resolution. The IBIS-Rover provides all the functions and proven benefits of the IBIS-FM systems: highly accurate real-time measurements of mine wall displacements as well as reliable early warning of impending failures, with the added value of high mobility and fast deployment.
In addition there will be an overview of the IDS Controller and Guardian software with the opportunity to share information on the software interfaces and a data analysis presentation.
- Controller - Manages data acquisition and system processes -- Acquisition parameter settings, power supply control, status information, preliminary data processing, and data transfer tools.
- Guardian - Version 3.0 makes refined use of state-of-the-art automatic atmospheric correction algorithms to provide accurate and reliable displacement maps fully geo-referenced with the digital terrain model. The capability to handle long-term projects with large datasets makes Guardian also suitable for the long-term tracking of movements, potentially useful for regulators, for back analysis of slope failures and for more comprehensive geotechnical/geological analysis.
The time and location for this event are:
