Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. (IDS) and Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc. (EMA) have entered into a strategic partnership to merge their comprehensive offering of electromagnetic CAE tools, consulting services and measurement services and bring them to the United States market.
IDS and EMA are pleased to announce that the IDS CAE products ADF/E-MIND and VIRAF are now available in the US. These tools and another IDS product, SHIP-EDF, already used by the US Navy, will be fully supported by EMA’s team of consultants and scientists.

NSN 2013, Navy and Shipbuilding Nowadays, is a conference organized by the Krylov Shipbuilding Research Institute with the First Naval Shipbuilding Research Institute of the Russian Federation Ministry of Defence, which will be held on the 4th and 5th of July during the biennial IMDS International Maritime Defence Show.

The IDS Naval Division will be taking part in a conference on “Developments in the Prevention and Protection against Ionizing and Non-ionizing Radiation” which has been organized by the C.I.S.A.M. Electromagnetic Compatibility Division, the Microwave and Radiation Laboratory of the University of Pisa, and the Scuola Superiore di Radioprotezione Carlo Polvani.
IDS will be presenting an article on problems related to radiation on personnel titled “Prevenzione del rischio HERP generato da unità navali in ambiente“- Prevention of HERP risks generated by naval vessels in the environment". IDS will be supporting their presentation with a booth in the rooms dedicated to the conference.
