Opera Duo has been selected for this year's ADI Design Index. Every year, ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale), the Italian Association for Industrial Design, produce the ADI Design Index showcasing the best examples of Italian product design. The ADI Design Index also acts as a stage in the selection for the prestigious ADI Compasso d'Oro award, the oldest and most influential international design award.
The Opera Duo GPR on display at ADI per EXPO
Opera Duo is the new dual frequency GPR (ground penetrating radar) system capable of detecting the presence of tubes and/or cables near to the surface and deep underground (0-6 meters) simply, quickly and in real time. Available in two versions, 2 wheel and 4 wheel, the Opera Duo was specifically designed to be light, ergonomic and easy to handle, thanks to a height adjustable handle. It was designed for IDS by the award winning designer Giuseppe Mincolelli of Lineaguida.
To tie up with this year's EXPO, ADI held the ADI Design Index 2015 event at their ADI per EXPO location in Milan, displaying the top 150 Italian product designs from over the last year, and are now heading to Rome where the show will be held at the Serra Espositiva dell'Orto Botanico from 15th - 21st October.
