Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A. (IDS) and Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc. (EMA) have entered into a strategic partnership to merge their comprehensive offering of electromagnetic CAE tools, consulting services and measurement services and bring them to the United States market.
IDS and EMA are pleased to announce that the IDS CAE products ADF/E-MIND and VIRAF are now available in the US. These tools and another IDS product, SHIP-EDF, already used by the US Navy, will be fully supported by EMA’s team of consultants and scientists.

Please come and visit us at Booth 25 to chat about our solutions for antenna modeling. In addition, IDS will be participating in a workshop on Modulated Metasurface Antennas.

On the 15th March 2014, IDS’s local partners in Singapore, FTD Solutions held an ADF introduction training course at the Nanyang Technological University School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering. The course was attended by around 13 students, most of whom were studying for PhDs and Master’s degrees in the Communication Engineering division of the university.

The IDS Space Lab will be sponsoring the 6th International Conference on Recent Advances in Space Technologies organized by: the Turkish Air Force Academy, the Aeronautics and Space Technologies Institute (ASTIN), the Turkey Istanbul Technical University, the Turkey Boğaziçi University and the Turkey Middle East Technical University.
June 6th, 2013, Tokyo. In keeping with its tradition of collaborating with universities and academic research centers, the IDS Computational Electromagnetic Laboratory, CEMLab, has inaugurated a partnership with the laboratory of Prof. Nakano at Hosei University, Tokyo.
June 3rd – 5th, 2013, Nagoya, Japan. The IDS Computational Electromagnetic Laboratory, CEMLab, with its partner MoDeCH, participated in the ISTS (International Symposium on Space Technology and Science), the most popular international conference in Japan on the subject of space technology and science.
2nd - 9th June 2013, Nagoya, Japan. The IDS Space Lab will partecipate at the 29th International Symposium on Space Technology and Science (ISTS). The event will be held at the Nagoya Congress Center in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
May 27th – 31st, 2013, Shanghai. In collaboration with its long-term partner, T-Solution, the IDS Computational Electromagnetic Laboratory, CEMLab, hosted a one week training course on ADF 5.1 which was open to its customers.
More than 16 engineers from Xian Space, Shanghai Satellite Institute and Cheng-Du Antenna Equipment participated in the various training sessions.
May 20th – 24th, 2013. In collaboration with IDS Space Laboratory's Singapore dealer, FTD Solutions, the IDS Computational Electromagnetic Laboratory, CEMLab, presented the latest version of its simulation environment, ADF 5.1, to prospective clients in Singapore and Malaysia.
New functionalities were demonstrated to ST Electronics, I2R and Telecom Malaysia, opening new possibilities for further development of the IDS presence in the Southeast Asian market.
8th - 11th April 2013, Gothenburg, Sweden. EuCAP is an event which has been held annually since 2006 and is organized by the European Association on Antennas and Propagation. The IDS Space Laboratory will be exhibiting at the event with the latest version of the IDS Antenna Design Framework.
