Embrace the future of maritime at World Defence Show ‘24
IDS, a Fincantieri NexTech company, will be attending the new edition of the World Defence Show Saudi Arabia 2024 (https://www.worlddefenseshow.com), from 4th to 8th February in Riyadh.
Founded by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Military Industries, the World Defence Show is a fully integrated and future-focused defence event set to showcase the latest technological developments from across the globe and demonstrate interoperability across five domains: land, sea, air, security and satellite.
At this edition, IDS will be presenting its SAND Unmanned Surface Vessel – USV, an advanced naval drone platform. SAND represents the latest in cutting-edge solutions for Unmanned and Autonomous Systems.
The SAND platform is designed to accomplish several mission types including Naval Mine Warfare and Anti-Submarine Warfare. Complex tasks are managed with the SAND Mission Management System, which integrates Unmanned Underwater Vehicles – UUVs.
