Stream X used in the search for a missing woman

28th June 2013, Pisa. To aid in the search for Roberta Ragusa, a woman who disappeared in Pisa in January 2012, the Public Prosecutor, State Prefect and the Provincial Commander of the Carabinieri decided to make use of IDS technology, namely Stream X.

The Stream X system consists of an array of antennas towed by a vehicle and is capable of investigating large areas in a much shorter time than compared with traditional systems. The IDS Stream X system is specifically designed as a tool to support geological, environmental and public security investigation activities.

IDS has made its technicians and ground penetrating radar systems available to the relevant authorities in the ongoing search.
