FARAD Takes Part in NATO Trials

November 2013, Mazagón, Huelva, Spain. The IDS Measurement Laboratory has taken part in the NATO SET-180 trials operating the IDS FARAD Radar. The trials took place at the INTA CEDEA test range, one of the best test ranges in Europe, and saw the participation of several radars from various NATO countries, measuring a full range of different targets. The IDS Measurement Laboratory teamed up with the IDS Radar and Avionics Laboratory and the Aeronautical Division in preparing and performing this campaign. FARAD performed at its best on such a valuable opportunity to share its capabilities with the NATO R&D community.
