Course on Ground-Based SAR for Deformation Monitoring: Data Analysis, July 1st-3rd, 2013, Institute of Geomatics, Barcelona, Spain

July 1st-3rd, 2013, Institute of Geomatics, Barcelona, Spain. IDS is glad to announce their sponsorship of a course on Ground-Based Synthetic Aperture Radar (GBSAR).

The course is addressed towards a wide range of technicians, young researchers, scientists and managers from different disciplines who deal with this new type of data and covers all the relevant aspects of GBSAR data analysis in order to help understand the advantages and limitations of this new technique and correctly exploit and interpret its data. The lectures will be delivered by the Active Remote Sensing Unit of the Institute of Geomatics (IG) who participated in the 6FWP Galahad project, "Advanced Remote Monitoring Techniques for Glaciers, Avalanches and Landslides Hazard Mitigation" and who operate IBIS-L equipment.
