Interview with Keith Mandisodza on the IBIS-Rover Interferometric Mine Slope Radar

8th September 2015, Pisa Italy. The IBIS-Rover is the new slope monitoring radar from IDS, designed to improve safety in open pit mines. It is a mobile short-range broad area slope monitoring radar. The IBIS-Rover is a valuable tool for long-wall open cut operations (e.g. coal strip mining), wherever frequent relocation is required in multiple-pit operations or for quick focus on critical areas at short-range through the provision of an extended 270° field of view.

In the interview, we hear what Keith Mandisodza, Senior Geotechnical Engineer at Iamgold - Rosebel Gold Mines N.V., thinks of the new radar system.
