IDS and StayShift have signed an exclusive contract to sell ADF in Japan

Pisa-Italy, Tokyo-Japan - July 2, 2012

Ingegneria Dei Sistemi S.p.A., a leading provider of electromagnetic solutions with a proven record in high-fidelity antenna design, has signed an exclusive contract with StayShift, a leading Japanese distributor of EDA software.

In response to expanding markets in Japan, as of today StayShift has begun to sell and provide technical support for ADF (Antenna Design Framework) which has been developed in IDS's Space Lab.

StayShift Ltd., based in Kanagawa Science Park, was established in July 2010. StayShift Ltd. has more than 10 years professional experience in electromagnetic analysis. In addition, the company works closely with a variety of Japanese and overseas public institutions to support activities in the development process of next generation engineering.
Mr Okui, President of StayShift stated that “Since any failure cannot be tolerated in the satellite field under any circumstances, simulation from the design stage is the MUST requirement. For example, to evaluate the effect of platform interactions on antenna performance or the effect of the plasma wrapped around a re-entry vehicle. ADF is a simulator based on these core technologies developed by IDS and actually verified on a number of satellite projects in Europe. We believe that this technology should be deployed in Japan to contribute to the development of advanced antenna designs for space applications."
